We are proficient at hardscape

Santa Monica, Ca.

Execution of a Barry Beer design featured in "Los Angeles Times Magazine" home renovation issue.

Barry Beer is especially talented at creating spaces within spaces to make a small area feel much bigger.  In this example, he has blended landscaping with flagstone, slate, quartzite, and concrete tile to add "size" to the compact backyard featured in this article.

Barry Beer is an award winning designer of many prominent celebrity homes on the West Coast.

We are very adept at remodels

Pacific Palisades, Ca.

Here we had a kitchen that had been mostly untouched since the house was built in the late 40's.  The room was gutted, than rebuilt on the original layout which worked well for the owners.

The difference is dramatic!  From dark and gloomy, to open, airy, and cheerful!

It is now a very pleasant place to be.

We love to revisit classic designs

Aspen, Colorado

Here is a "Rumford" style fireplace.  This one is seven feet high and wide, and will throw enough heat to warm the castle it resides in!  You may need a forklift to move the log that this unit will handle.

Count Rumford developed this style of fireplace at a time when the science of fireplace design was non-existant.  It was the first to actually throw more heat into a room than it sucked out through the flue!

We are imaginative

Aspen, Colorado

Here we have built another Rumford fireplace designed around a terra cotta medallion provided by the owner.  That inspired the "rook" design seen here.

We are expert in ultra custom and elegant concepts

Aspen Co.

This is truly unique!

This bridge was built over an indoor, olympic length swimming pool that extended under the balcony for the master bedroom suite.  There were many, many calculations involved in the layout and construction that spanned four weeks of twelve and fourteen hour days, with no time out for weekends.  A very intense, and rewarding, experience.

This structure was spotlighted in "Colorado Homes and Lifestyles" magazine, and was used for the opening shot on the "60 Minutes" segment featuring Aspen.  It has also been seen in various other publications and promotional materials.
